Infantry Characteristics
Infantry is the most common type of unit seen in scorched earth. Infantry models have the following characteristics.
| Characteristic | Abbreviation | Description |

| Weapon Skill | Ws | How good the model is at shooting weapons and fighting in combat. |
| Strength | S | How lethal in combat the model is. |
| Initiative | I | How quick and nimble the model is. |
| Wounds | W | How many wounds the model can take before dying. |
| Grit | Gr | How mentally tough the model is. |
| Sagacity | Sg | How intelligent and wise the fighter is. |
| Rules | what rules and special abilities the model has. |
Wounds - the number of wounds an infantry model has is based on their base size on the table below. All other characteristics will have a value based on their entry in their Codex.
